Each year women flock to the event in their chic outfits and colorful hats and this year was no exception. The theme was “L’Art de Vivre” which means “the art of living”. Megan Jamaluddin, chair of the event expounded upon the selection, “The theme embodies the mission of New Danville to provide programs and services for their clients to help them to live vibrant lives where they can see the world as a place full of colors, textures and opportunities!”

Tea on the Lawn 2018

On Friday, April 27, New Danville had its 10th annual Tea on the Lawn luncheon at the beautiful Madera Estates in Conroe, Texas. This annual hat luncheon is a festive affair where guests don their fanciest fascinators and chicest chapeaux. This year it was hats off to Honorary Chairs Mike and Barbara Feigin, founders of Main Street America, for their generous support of New Danville over the years. Keynote speaker, Mario Lopez, brought a spirit of positivity to the occasion.

New Danville opened its doors to provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the same opportunities that most take for granted. Situated on 42 peaceful, rolling acres in Willis, Texas, the community provides day-habilitation, residency, and extended activities programs.
